Aunt Beth's Cookies began as a modest endeavor in the 1980s, nestled inside a small convenience store in Mishawaka, Indiana, owned by Beth and her husband, Ted. Each morning, Beth would rise early to bake fresh donuts for the store's display case. Wanting to offer something sweet for the afternoon crowd, she began baking homemade cookies using her own closely guarded recipes. These warm, buttery treats quickly became a customer favorite, creating a buzz that extended well beyond the neighborhood.
As word spread and demand continued to grow, Beth and Ted turned their passion into a full-fledged business, Aunt Beth's Cookies! What started as a few cookie trays behind a counter soon evolved into a thriving bakery operation serving customers across the Midwest. The company expanded its product line to include gourmet muffins, but the heart of the business remained the same: delicious, handmade baked goods crafted with care and tradition
In 2016, after decades of hard work and personal dedication, Beth and Ted passed the torch to a new generation of leadership. Executive Pastry Chef Phil Wenzel, a certified chef through the American Culinary Federation since 2008, took over the company's production operations alongside local entrepreneur Michael Violi. Together, they carry forward Aunt Beth's legacy, preserving the time-honored recipes and baking traditions that have made the brand a staple for over 40 years.
